Mutirna bifadlillahi wa rahmatih

ہم پر اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے بارش ہوئی۔

We have been given rain by the bounty and mercy of Allah. (Do not attribute it to the stars.)

Allahumma hawalayna wa la 'alayna. Allahumma 'alal-akami wadh-dhirab, wa butunil-awdiyah, wa manabitish-shajar

اے اللہ! ہمارے آس پاس برسا، ہم پر نہیں۔ اے اللہ! ٹیلوں، پہاڑیوں، وادیوں اور درخت اگنے کی جگہوں پر برسا۔

O Allah, around us and not upon us. O Allah, upon the hills, the mountains, the valley bottoms and the places where trees grow.

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha, wa khayra ma fiha, wa khayra ma ursilat bih, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha, wa sharri ma fiha, wa sharri ma ursilat bih

اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے اس (ہوا) کی بھلائی، جو کچھ اس میں ہے اس کی بھلائی اور جس کے ساتھ یہ بھیجی گئی ہے اس کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں، اور اس کے شر، اس میں موجود شر اور جس کے ساتھ یہ بھیجی گئی ہے اس کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

O Allah, I ask You for its good, the good within it and the good it was sent with, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil within it and the evil it was sent with.

Subhanal-ladhi yusabbihur-ra'du bihamdihi wal-mala'ikatu min khifatih

پاک ہے وہ ذات جس کی حمد کے ساتھ گرج تسبیح کرتی ہے اور فرشتے بھی اس کے خوف سے (تسبیح کرتے ہیں)۔

Glory be to Him whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels too, out of awe of Him. (Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr would stop talking and say this on hearing thunder.)

Allahummasqina ghaythan mughitha, mari'an mari'a, nafi'an ghayra darr, 'ajilan ghayra ajil

اے اللہ! ہمیں ایسی بارش سے سیراب کر جو فریاد رسی کرنے والی، خوشگوار، سرسبزی لانے والی، نفع دینے والی ہو نقصان دینے والی نہ ہو، جلد آنے والی ہو دیر سے نہیں۔

O Allah, give us rain that is relieving, wholesome, productive, beneficial not harmful, soon not delayed.

Allahumma aghithna, Allahumma aghithna, Allahumma aghithna

اے اللہ! ہماری فریاد رسی فرما (بارش برسا)، اے اللہ! ہماری فریاد رسی فرما، اے اللہ! ہماری فریاد رسی فرما۔

O Allah, send us relief (rain); O Allah, send us relief; O Allah, send us relief.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharriha

اے اللہ! میں اس (بادل) کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ (اگر بارش ہو جائے تو 'اللّٰهُمَّ صَيِّبًا هَنِيْئًا' کہیں)

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from its evil. (If it rains, say: Allahumma sayyiban hani'a.)
