Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunya hasanatan wafee alakhirati hasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari

اور کوئی کہتا ہے کہ اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بھی بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھی بھلائی اور آگ کے عذاب سے ہمیں بچا

But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire

Waith yarfaAAu ibraheemu alqawaAAida mina albayti waismaAAeelu rabbana taqabbal minna innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu Rabbana waijAAalna muslimayni laka wamin thurriyyatina ommatan muslimatan laka waarina manasikana watub AAalayna innaka anta alttawwabu alrraheemu

اور یاد کرو ابراہیمؑ اور اسمٰعیلؑ جب اس گھر کی دیواریں اٹھا رہے تھے، تو دعا کرتے جاتے تھے: "اے ہمارے رب، ہم سے یہ خدمت قبول فرما لے، تو سب کی سننے اور سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے اے رب، ہم دونوں کو اپنا مسلم (مُطیع فرمان) بنا، ہماری نسل سے ایک ایسی قوم اٹھا، جو تیری مسلم ہو، ہمیں اپنی عبادت کے طریقے بتا، اور ہماری کوتاہیوں سے در گزر فرما، تو بڑا معاف کرنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful

La yukallifu Allahu nafsan illa wusAAaha laha ma kasabat waAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana la tuakhithna in naseena aw akhtana rabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isran kama hamaltahu AAala allatheena min qablina rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi waoAAfu AAanna waighfir lana wairhamna anta mawlana faonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena

اللہ کسی متنفس پر اُس کی مقدرت سے بڑھ کر ذمہ داری کا بوجھ نہیں ڈالتا ہر شخص نے جو نیکی کمائی ہے، اس کا پھل اسی کے لیے ہے اور جو بدی سمیٹی ہے، اس کا وبال اسی پر ہے (ایمان لانے والو! تم یوں دعا کیا کرو) اے ہمارے رب! ہم سے بھول چوک میں جو قصور ہو جائیں، ان پر گرفت نہ کر مالک! ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈال، جو تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر ڈالے تھے پروردگار! جس بار کو اٹھانے کی طاقت ہم میں نہیں ہے، وہ ہم پر نہ رکھ، ہمارے ساتھ نرمی کر، ہم سے در گزر فرما، ہم پر رحم کر، تو ہمارا مولیٰ ہے، کافروں کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد کر

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people

Walamma barazoo lijaloota wajunoodihi qaloo rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabran wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena

اور جب وہ جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کے مقابلہ پر نکلے، تو انہوں نے دعا کی: "اے ہمارے رب ہم پر صبر کا فیضان کر، ہمارے قدم جما دے اور اس کافر گروہ پر ہمیں فتح نصیب کر

And when they went forth to [face] Goliath and his soldiers, they said, "Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people

Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu

وہ اللہ سے دعا کرتے رہتے ہیں کہ: "پروردگار! جب تو ہمیں سیدھے رستہ پر لگا چکا ہے، تو پھر کہیں ہمارے دلوں کو کجی میں مبتلا نہ کر دیجیو ہمیں اپنے خزانہ فیض سے رحمت عطا کر کہ تو ہی فیاض حقیقی ہے

[Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower

Allatheena yaqooloona rabbana innana amanna faighfir lana thunoobana waqina AAathaba alnnari

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں، جو کہتے ہیں کہ "مالک! ہم ایمان لائے، ہماری خطاؤں سے در گزر فرما اور ہمیں آتش دوزخ سے بچا لے

Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire

Wama kana qawlahum illa an qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobana waisrafana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena

ان کی دعا بس یہ تھی کہ، "اے ہمارے رب! ہماری غلطیوں اور کوتاہیوں سے درگزر فرما، ہمارے کام میں تیرے حدود سے جو کچھ تجاوز ہو گیا ہو اُسے معاف کر دے، ہمارے قدم جما دے اور کافروں کے مقابلہ میں ہماری مدد کر

And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people

Allatheena yathkuroona Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihim wayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waalardi rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina AAathaba alnnari Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnara faqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeena min ansarin Rabbana innana samiAAna munadiyan yunadee lileemani an aminoo birabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfir lana thunoobana wakaffir AAanna sayyiatina watawaffana maAAa alabrari Rabbana waatina ma waAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzina yawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada

جو اٹھتے، بیٹھتے اور لیٹتے، ہر حال میں خدا کو یاد کرتے ہیں اور آسمان و زمین کی ساخت میں غور و فکر کرتے ہیں (وہ بے اختیار بو ل اٹھتے ہیں) "پروردگار! یہ سب کچھ تو نے فضول اور بے مقصد نہیں بنایا ہے، تو پاک ہے اس سے کہ عبث کام کرے پس اے رب! ہمیں دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچا لے تو نے جسے دوزخ میں ڈالا اسے در حقیقت بڑی ذلت و رسوائی میں ڈال دیا، اور پھر ایسے ظالموں کا کوئی مدد گار نہ ہوگا مالک! ہم نے ایک پکارنے والے کو سنا جو ایمان کی طرف بلاتا تھا اور کہتا تھا کہ اپنے رب کو مانو ہم نے اس کی دعوت قبول کر لی، پس اے ہمارے آقا! جو قصور ہم سے ہوئے ہیں ان سے درگزر فرما، جو برائیاں ہم میں ہیں انہیں دور کر دے اور ہمارا خاتمہ نیک لوگوں کے ساتھ کر خداوندا! جو وعدے تو نے اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعہ سے کیے ہیں اُن کو ہمارے ساتھ پورا کر اور قیامت کے دن ہمیں رسوائی میں نہ ڈال، بے شک تو اپنے وعدے کے خلاف کرنے والا نہیں ہے

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise

Qala rabbana thalamna anfusana wain lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena

دونوں بول اٹھے، "اے رب، ہم نے اپنے اوپر ستم کیا، اب اگر تو نے ہم سے در گزر نہ فرمایا اور رحم نہ کیا تو یقیناً ہم تباہ ہو جائیں گے

They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers

Waikhfid lahuma janaha alththulli mina alrrahmati waqul rabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayanee sagheeran

اور نرمی و رحم کے ساتھ ان کے سامنے جھک کر رہو، اور دعا کیا کرو کہ "پروردگار، ان پر رحم فرما جس طرح اِنہوں نے رحمت و شفقت کے ساتھ مجھے بچپن میں پالا تھا

And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small

Rabbi ijAAalnee muqeema alssalati wamin thurriyyatee rabbana wtaqabbal duAAai Rabbana ighfir lee waliwalidayya walilmumineena yawma yaqoomu alhisabu

ا ے میرے پروردگار، مجھے نماز قائم کرنے والا بنا اور میری اولاد سے بھی (ایسے لوگ اٹھا جو یہ کام کریں) پروردگار، میری دعا قبول کر پروردگار، مجھے اور میرے والدین کو اور سب ایمان لانے والوں کو اُس دن معاف کر دیجیو جبکہ حساب قائم ہوگا

My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established

Ith awa alfityatu ila alkahfi faqaloo rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi lana min amrina rashadan

جب وہ چند نوجوان غار میں پناہ گزیں ہوئے اور انہوں نے کہا کہ "اے پروردگار، ہم کو اپنی رحمت خاص سے نواز اور ہمارا معاملہ درست کر دے،

[Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance

Qala rabbi ishrah lee sadree Wayassir lee amree Waohlul AAuqdatan min lisanee Yafqahoo qawlee

موسیٰؑ نے عرض کیا " پروردگار، میرا سینہ کھول دے اور میرے کام کو میرے لیے آسان کر دے اور میری زبان کی گرہ سُلجھا دے تاکہ لوگ میری بات سمجھ سکیں

[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] And ease for me my task And untie the knot from my tongue That they may understand my speech

FataAAala Allahu almaliku alhaqqu wala taAAjal bialqurani min qabli an yuqda ilayka wahyuhu waqul rabbi zidnee AAilman

پس بالا و برتر ہے اللہ، پادشاہ حقیقی اور دیکھو، قرآن پڑھنے میں جلدی نہ کیا کرو جب تک کہ تمہاری طرف اُس کی وحی تکمیل کو نہ پہنچ جائے، اور دُعا کرو کہ اے پروردگار مجھے مزید علم عطا کر

So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge

Watha alnnooni ith thahaba mughadiban fathanna an lan naqdira AAalayhi fanada fee alththulumati an la ilaha illa anta subhanaka innee kuntu mina alththalimeena

اور مچھلی والے کو بھی ہم نے نوازا یاد کرو جبکہ وہ بگڑ کر چلا گیا تھا اور سمجھا تھا کہ ہم اس پر گرفت نہ کریں گے آخر کو اُس نے تاریکیوں میں پکارا "نہیں ہے کوئی خدا مگر تُو، پاک ہے تیری ذات، بے شک میں نے قصور کیا

And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers

Wazakariyya ith nada rabbahu rabbi la tatharnee fardan waanta khayru alwaritheena

اور زکریّاؑ کو، جبکہ اس نے اپنے رب کو پکارا کہ "اے پروردگار، مجھے اکیلا نہ چھوڑ، اور بہترین وارث تو تُو ہی ہے

And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors

Waqul rabbi aAAoothu bika min hamazati alshshayateeni WaaAAoothu bika rabbi an yahdurooni

اور دعا کرو کہ "پروردگار، میں شیاطین کی اکساہٹوں سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں بلکہ اے میرے رب، میں تو اس سے بھی تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ وہ میرے پاس آئیں

And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me

Waqul rabbi ighfir wairham waanta khayru alrrahimeena

اے محمدؐ، کہو، "میرے رب درگزر فرما، اور رحم کر، اور تو سب رحیموں سے اچھا رحیم ہے

And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful

Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbana hab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatina qurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman

جو دعائیں مانگا کرتے ہیں کہ "اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں اپنی بیویوں اور اپنی اولاد سے آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک دے اور ہم کو پرہیز گاروں کا امام بنا

And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous

Fasaqa lahuma thumma tawalla ila alththilli faqala rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun

یہ سن کو موسیٰؑ نے ان کے جانوروں کو پانی پلا دیا، پھر ایک سائے کی جگہ جا بیٹھا اور بولا "پروردگار، جو خیر بھی تو مجھ پر نازل کر دے میں اس کا محتاج ہوں

So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need

Wawassayna alinsana biwalidayhi ihsanan hamalathu ommuhu kurhan wawadaAAathu kurhan wahamluhu wafisaluhu thalathoona shahran hatta itha balagha ashuddahu wabalagha arbaAAeena sanatan qala rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahu waaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtu ilayka wainnee mina almuslimeena

ہم نے انسان کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ اپنے والدین کے ساتھ نیک بر تاؤ کرے اُس کی ماں نے مشقت اٹھا کر اسے پیٹ میں رکھا اور مشقت اٹھا کر ہی اس کو جنا، اور اس کے حمل اور دودھ چھڑانے میں تیس مہینے لگ گئے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ اپنی پوری طاقت کو پہنچا اور چالیس سال کا ہو گیا تو اس نے کہا "اے میرے رب، مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری اُن نعمتوں کا شکر ادا کروں جو تو نے مجھے اور میرے والدین کو عطا فرمائیں، اور ایسا نیک عمل کروں جس سے تو راضی ہو، اور میری اولاد کو بھی نیک بنا کر مجھے سُکھ دے، میں تیرے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں اور تابع فرمان (مسلم) بندوں میں سے ہوں

And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims

Waallatheena jaoo min baAAdihim yaqooloona rabbana ighfir lana waliikhwanina allatheena sabaqoona bialeemani wala tajAAal fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena amanoo rabbana innaka raoofun raheemun

(اور وہ اُن لوگوں کے لیے بھی ہے) جو اِن اگلوں کے بعد آئے ہیں، جو کہتے ہیں کہ "اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں اور ہمارے اُن سب بھائیوں کو بخش دے جو ہم سے پہلے ایمان لائے ہیں اور ہمارے دلوں میں اہل ایمان کے لیے کوئی بغض نہ رکھ، اے ہمارے رب، تو بڑا مہربان اور رحیم ہے

And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful

Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya muminan walilmumineena waalmuminati wala tazidi alththalimeena illa tabaran

میرے رب، مجھے اور میرے والدین کو اور ہر اس شخص کو جو میرے گھر میں مومن کی حیثیت سے داخل ہوا ہے، اور سب مومن مردوں اور عورتوں کو معاف فرما دے، اور ظالموں کے لیے ہلاکت کے سوا کسی چیز میں اضافہ نہ کر

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction

Allatheena itha asabathum museebatun qaloo inna lillahi wainna ilayhi rajiAAoona

اِن حالات میں جو لوگ صبر کریں اور جب کوئی مصیبت پڑے، تو کہیں کہ: "ہم اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور اللہ ہی کی طرف ہمیں پلٹ کر جانا ہے

Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return

Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la takhuthuhu sinatun wala nawmun lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi man tha allathee yashfaAAu AAindahu illa biithnihi yaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yuheetoona bishayin min AAilmihi illa bima shaa wasiAAa kursiyyuhu alssamawati waalarda wala yaooduhu hifthuhuma wahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheemu

اللہ، وہ زندہ جاوید ہستی، جو تمام کائنات کو سنبھالے ہوئے ہے، اُس کے سوا کوئی خدا نہیں ہے وہ نہ سوتا ہے اور نہ اُسے اونگھ لگتی ہے زمین اور آسمانوں میں جو کچھ ہے، اُسی کا ہے کون ہے جو اُس کی جناب میں اُس کی اجازت کے بغیر سفارش کر سکے؟ جو کچھ بندوں کے سامنے ہے اسے بھی وہ جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ اُن سے اوجھل ہے، اس سے بھی وہ واقف ہے اور اُس کی معلومات میں سے کوئی چیز اُن کی گرفت ادراک میں نہیں آسکتی الّا یہ کہ کسی چیز کا علم وہ خود ہی اُن کو دینا چاہے اُس کی حکومت آسمانوں اور زمین پر چھائی ہوئی ہے اور اُن کی نگہبانی اس کے لیے کوئی تھکا دینے والا کام نہیں ہے بس وہی ایک بزرگ و برتر ذات ہے

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great

Amana alrrasoolu bima onzila ilayhi min rabbihi waalmuminoona kullun amana biAllahi wamalaikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulihi waqaloo samiAAna waataAAna ghufranaka rabbana wailayka almaseeru La yukallifu Allahu nafsan illa wusAAaha laha ma kasabat waAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana la tuakhithna in naseena aw akhtana rabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isran kama hamaltahu AAala allatheena min qablina rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi waoAAfu AAanna waighfir lana wairhamna anta mawlana faonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena

رسول اُس ہدایت پر ایمان لایا ہے جو اس کے رب کی طرف سے اس پر نازل ہوئی ہے اور جو لوگ اِس رسول کے ماننے والے ہیں، انہوں نے بھی اس ہدایت کو دل سے تسلیم کر لیا ہے یہ سب اللہ اور اس کے فرشتوں اوراس کی کتابوں اور اس کے رسولوں کو مانتے ہیں اور ان کا قول یہ ہے کہ: "ہم اللہ کے رسولوں کو ایک دوسرے سے الگ نہیں کرتے، ہم نے حکم سنا اور اطاعت قبول کی مالک! ہم تجھ سے خطا بخشی کے طالب ہیں اور ہمیں تیری ہی طرف پلٹنا ہے اللہ کسی متنفس پر اُس کی مقدرت سے بڑھ کر ذمہ داری کا بوجھ نہیں ڈالتا ہر شخص نے جو نیکی کمائی ہے، اس کا پھل اسی کے لیے ہے اور جو بدی سمیٹی ہے، اس کا وبال اسی پر ہے (ایمان لانے والو! تم یوں دعا کیا کرو) اے ہمارے رب! ہم سے بھول چوک میں جو قصور ہو جائیں، ان پر گرفت نہ کر مالک! ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈال، جو تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر ڈالے تھے پروردگار! جس بار کو اٹھانے کی طاقت ہم میں نہیں ہے، وہ ہم پر نہ رکھ، ہمارے ساتھ نرمی کر، ہم سے در گزر فرما، ہم پر رحم کر، تو ہمارا مولیٰ ہے، کافروں کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد کر

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people
