Halal Foods حلال غذائیں

What makes food halal or haram, with references – meat and slaughter, seafood, drinks, ingredients and E-numbers, dining out, medicines and the duas of eating.

🕌Halal, Haram and Doubtful: The Principlesحلال، حرام اور مشتبہ: بنیادی اصولEverything Allah has created for us to eat is halal (permitted) unless He has forbidden it. The forbidden list is short and clear; most of what fills a supermarket is lawful. This article explains the three categories every Muslim should know and the proofs behind them.🥩Meat and Zabihah Slaughterگوشت اور ذبیحہMeat is the area where halal matters most, because a lawful animal becomes unlawful if it is not slaughtered correctly. Here are the conditions of zabihah, the rulings on machine slaughter and stunning, the meat of Jews and Christians, and how to read halal certification logos abroad.🐄Which Animals Are Halal and Which Are Notکون سے جانور حلال ہیں اور کون سے نہیںThe Qur'an and Sunnah give a short list of forbidden animals; everything else that is wholesome is allowed when properly slaughtered. This article covers pork, carrion, blood, predators, donkeys, horses, rabbits, insects and the rules of hunting.🐟Seafood: Fish, Shrimp, Crab and Squidسمندری خوراک: مچھلی، جھینگا، کیکڑا اور اسکوئڈAll fish are halal and need no slaughter. The schools differ on other sea creatures such as shrimp, crab, lobster, squid and oysters. Here is what each school says, so that you can follow your school with understanding and respect those who differ.🍷Drinks, Alcohol and Ethanol Tracesمشروبات، شراب اور الکحل کے اثراتIntoxicants are forbidden in every quantity. But modern food uses ethanol as a solvent and alcohol appears naturally in fermented foods, so a Muslim abroad needs clear rules: cooking wine, vanilla extract, kombucha, non-alcoholic beer, flavourings and energy drinks.🏷️Reading Labels and E-Numbersلیبل اور ای نمبرز پڑھناMost packaged food is halal, but a few additives can come from pork, non-zabihah animals or alcohol. Learning to read a label in thirty seconds, knowing which E-numbers matter and understanding vegetarian and vegan symbols will remove most of your anxiety in a supermarket.🧀Dairy, Cheese and Enzymesدودھ، پنیر اور انزائمزMilk, butter, cream and yoghurt are halal. Cheese is where questions arise, because it is set with rennet or other enzymes that may come from the stomach of a calf that was not slaughtered Islamically. Here are the facts and the views.🍬Sweets, Gelatin and Hidden Animal Additivesمٹھائیاں، جیلاٹن اور چھپے ہوئے جانوری اجزاءGummy sweets, marshmallows, jelly, some chocolates, glazed sweets and even bread can contain animal-derived additives. The four to know are gelatin, carmine (E120), shellac (E904) and L-cysteine (E920). This article explains each and what the alternatives look like on a label.✈️Dining Out, Restaurants and Travelباہر کھانا، ریستوران اور سفرEating out and travelling in a non-Muslim country can feel difficult, but with a few habits it becomes easy: knowing what to order, how to ask, how to use halal apps and airline meals, and what the Shariah allows when nothing halal is available.💊Medicines, Capsules, Supplements and Vaccinesادویات، کیپسول، سپلیمنٹس اور ویکسینMedicines raise special questions: gelatin capsules, alcohol in syrups, animal-derived ingredients and vaccines. Islam encourages seeking treatment, and the rule of necessity gives real relief, but the believer should still prefer halal options when they exist.⚖️Doubtful Matters: Taqwa Without Obsessionمشتبہ امور: وسوسے کے بغیر تقویٰThe hadith of Nu'man ibn Bashir is the key to the whole halal question. It teaches us to avoid what is doubtful, but the Sunnah equally warns against extremism and whispering doubts. This article explains how to strike the balance.👨‍👩‍👧Halal for Children and Familiesبچوں اور خاندان کے لیے حلالParents are responsible for what their children eat and for teaching them the halal way with love. This article covers school meals, birthday parties, sweets, sleepovers and how to explain halal to children without making them feel isolated.🍽️The Etiquette of Eatingکھانے کے آدابHalal is not only what we eat but how we eat. The Prophet ﷺ taught simple manners that turn every meal into worship: beginning with Allah's name, using the right hand, sitting humbly, sharing, not wasting and praising Allah at the end.

On drinking water and Zamzam پانی اور زمزم پیتے وقت

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ... الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Bismillah ... Alhamdulillah

Say "In the name of Allah" before drinking, drink sitting in three breaths, and say "All praise is for Allah" afterwards. Allah is pleased with the servant who drinks and praises Him. For Zamzam, make any dua you wish, for "the water of Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for".
