Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yawma tab'athu 'ibadak

اے اللہ! مجھے اپنے عذاب سے بچا جس دن تو اپنے بندوں کو اٹھائے گا۔

O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants. (The Prophet ﷺ placed his right hand under his cheek and said it three times.)

Allahumma aslamtu nafsi ilayk, wa fawwadtu amri ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilayk, wa alja'tu zahri ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, la malja'a wa la manja minka illa ilayk, amantu bikitabikal-ladhi anzalt, wa binabiyyikal-ladhi arsalt

اے اللہ! میں نے اپنی جان تیرے سپرد کر دی، اپنا معاملہ تیرے حوالے کر دیا، اپنا رخ تیری طرف کر لیا اور اپنی پیٹھ تیرے سہارے لگا دی، تیری رغبت اور تیرے خوف کے ساتھ۔ تجھ سے بھاگ کر پناہ اور نجات کی جگہ تیرے سوا کہیں نہیں۔ میں تیری اس کتاب پر ایمان لایا جو تو نے نازل کی اور تیرے اس نبی ﷺ پر جسے تو نے بھیجا۔

O Allah, I submit myself to You, entrust my affair to You, turn my face to You and rely on You completely, out of hope and fear of You. There is no refuge or escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You revealed and Your Prophet whom You sent. (Make wudu, lie on your right side and make these your last words; if you die that night you die upon the fitrah.)

Bismika rabbi wada'tu janbi, wa bika arfa'uh, in amsakta nafsi farhamha, wa in arsaltaha fahfazha bima tahfazu bihi 'ibadakas-salihin

اے میرے رب! تیرے نام سے میں نے اپنا پہلو رکھا اور تیری ہی مدد سے اسے اٹھاؤں گا۔ اگر تو میری جان روک لے تو اس پر رحم فرما، اور اگر چھوڑ دے تو اس کی ایسے حفاظت فرما جیسے تو اپنے نیک بندوں کی حفاظت کرتا ہے۔

In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side and by You I raise it. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You release it, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants. (Dust the bed three times first.)

Allahumma khalaqta nafsi wa anta tawaffaha, laka mamatuha wa mahyaha, in ahyaytaha fahfazha, wa in amattaha faghfir laha. Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afiyah

اے اللہ! تو نے میری جان کو پیدا کیا اور تو ہی اسے وفات دے گا، اس کا مرنا اور جینا تیرے ہی لیے ہے۔ اگر تو اسے زندہ رکھے تو اس کی حفاظت فرما اور اگر اسے موت دے تو اسے بخش دے۔ اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے عافیت مانگتا ہوں۔

O Allah, You created my soul and You will take it; its death and its life are Yours. If You keep it alive, protect it, and if You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing.

Allahumma rabbas-samawati wa rabbal-ardi wa rabbal-'arshil-'azim, rabbana wa rabba kulli shay', faliqal-habbi wan-nawa, wa munzilat-tawrati wal-injili wal-furqan, a'udhu bika min sharri kulli shay'in anta akhidhun binasiyatih. Allahumma antal-awwalu falaysa qablaka shay', wa antal-akhiru falaysa ba'daka shay', wa antaz-zahiru falaysa fawqaka shay', wa antal-batinu falaysa dunaka shay', iqdi 'annad-dayna wa aghnina minal-faqr

اے اللہ! آسمانوں کے رب، زمین کے رب اور عرشِ عظیم کے رب! ہمارے رب اور ہر چیز کے رب! دانے اور گٹھلی کو پھاڑنے والے، تورات، انجیل اور فرقان کو نازل کرنے والے! میں ہر اس چیز کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں جس کی پیشانی تیرے قبضے میں ہے۔ اے اللہ! تو ہی اول ہے تجھ سے پہلے کچھ نہیں، تو ہی آخر ہے تیرے بعد کچھ نہیں، تو ہی ظاہر ہے تیرے اوپر کچھ نہیں، تو ہی باطن ہے تجھ سے پوشیدہ کچھ نہیں۔ ہمارا قرض ادا فرما دے اور ہمیں فقر سے بے نیاز کر دے۔

O Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Injil and the Furqan: I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold. O Allah, You are the First, nothing is before You; the Last, nothing is after You; the Manifest, nothing is above You; the Hidden, nothing is beyond You. Settle our debt and free us from poverty.

Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana, wa kafana wa awana, fakam mimman la kafiya lahu wa la mu'wi

تمام تعریف اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے ہمیں کھلایا، پلایا، ہماری کفایت کی اور ہمیں ٹھکانہ دیا، کتنے ہی لوگ ہیں جن کا نہ کوئی کفایت کرنے والا ہے نہ ٹھکانہ دینے والا۔

All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, sufficed us and sheltered us; how many there are who have none to suffice them or shelter them.

SubhanAllah (33), Alhamdulillah (33), Allahu akbar (34)

سبحان اللہ ۳۳ بار، الحمد للہ ۳۳ بار، اللہ اکبر ۳۴ بار۔ (نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ تمہارے لیے خادم سے بہتر ہے)

SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, Allahu akbar 34 times. (The Prophet ﷺ told Ali and Fatimah: this is better for you than a servant.)

Qul huwallahu ahad, Allahus-samad, lam yalid wa lam yulad, wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad. Qul a'udhu birabbil-falaq, min sharri ma khalaq, wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab, wa min sharrin-naffathati fil-'uqad, wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad. Qul a'udhu birabbin-nas, malikin-nas, ilahin-nas, min sharril-waswasil-khannas, alladhi yuwaswisu fi sudurin-nas, minal-jinnati wan-nas

سورۃ الاخلاص، سورۃ الفلق اور سورۃ الناس (معوذات): کہو وہ اللہ ایک ہے… میں صبح کے رب کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں… میں لوگوں کے رب کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں… (دونوں ہتھیلیاں ملا کر ان میں پھونکیں، پھر جہاں تک ہاتھ پہنچے جسم پر پھیریں، سر اور چہرے سے شروع کریں، تین بار)

Surahs Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas: Say, He is Allah, the One… Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak… Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind… (Cup the palms, blow into them, recite and wipe over as much of the body as possible, starting with the head and face — three times.)

Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi 'afani fi jasadi, wa radda 'alayya ruhi, wa adhina li bidhikrih

تمام تعریف اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے میرے جسم کو عافیت دی، میری روح مجھے لوٹا دی اور مجھے اپنے ذکر کی اجازت دی۔

All praise is for Allah who gave health to my body, returned my soul to me and permitted me to remember Him.

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. Alhamdulillah, wa subhanAllah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. Allahummaghfir li

اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لیے سب تعریف ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ تمام تعریف اللہ کے لیے، اللہ پاک ہے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اور طاقت و قوت صرف اللہ کی مدد سے ہے۔ اے اللہ! مجھے بخش دے۔

There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. All praise is for Allah, glory be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except with Allah. O Allah, forgive me. (His dua is answered, and if he makes wudu and prays, his prayer is accepted.)

La ilaha illallahul-wahidul-qahhar, rabbus-samawati wal-ardi wa ma baynahuma, al-'azizul-ghaffar

اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، سب پر غالب ہے، آسمانوں، زمین اور ان کے درمیان کی ہر چیز کا رب ہے، زبردست اور بہت بخشنے والا ہے۔

There is no god but Allah, the One, the Prevailing, Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, the Almighty, the Ever-Forgiving.

A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min ghadabihi wa 'iqabihi, wa sharri 'ibadihi, wa min hamazatish-shayatini wa an yahdurun

میں اللہ کے کامل کلمات کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس کے غضب اور عذاب سے، اس کے بندوں کے شر سے، شیطانوں کے وسوسوں سے اور اس سے کہ وہ میرے پاس آئیں۔

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and from their presence.

A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim, wa min sharri hadhihir-ru'ya

میں شیطان مردود سے اور اس خواب کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ (بائیں طرف تین بار ہلکا سا تھتکاریں، تین بار پناہ مانگیں، کروٹ بدل لیں، کسی کو نہ بتائیں، اور چاہیں تو اٹھ کر نماز پڑھیں — یہ خواب نقصان نہیں دے گا)

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan and from the evil of this dream. (Lightly spit to your left three times, seek refuge three times, turn to the other side, tell no one and, if you wish, get up and pray — it will not harm you.)

تمام تعریف اللہ کے لیے ہے۔ (اچھا خواب اللہ کی طرف سے ہے، اس پر اللہ کی حمد کریں اور صرف انہیں بتائیں جن سے محبت ہو)

All praise is for Allah. (A good dream is from Allah; praise Him for it and tell only those you love.)

Allahumma lakal-hamd, anta qayyimus-samawati wal-ardi wa man fihinn, wa lakal-hamd, laka mulkus-samawati wal-ardi wa man fihinn, wa lakal-hamd, anta nurus-samawati wal-ardi wa man fihinn, wa lakal-hamd, antal-haqq, wa wa'dukal-haqq, wa liqa'uka haqq, wa qawluka haqq, wal-jannatu haqq, wan-naru haqq, wan-nabiyyuna haqq, wa Muhammadun haqq, was-sa'atu haqq. Allahumma laka aslamtu, wa bika amantu, wa 'alayka tawakkaltu, wa ilayka anabtu, wa bika khasamtu, wa ilayka hakamtu, faghfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu, wa ma asrartu wa ma a'lantu, antal-muqaddimu wa antal-mu'akhkhiru, la ilaha illa ant

اے اللہ! تیرے ہی لیے تعریف ہے، تو آسمانوں، زمین اور ان میں موجود سب کو قائم رکھنے والا ہے… تو حق ہے، تیرا وعدہ حق ہے، تجھ سے ملاقات حق ہے، تیرا قول حق ہے، جنت حق ہے، دوزخ حق ہے، انبیاء حق ہیں، محمد ﷺ حق ہیں اور قیامت حق ہے۔ اے اللہ! میں تیرا فرمانبردار ہوا، تجھ پر ایمان لایا، تجھ پر بھروسہ کیا، تیری طرف رجوع کیا، تیری مدد سے جھگڑا کیا اور تجھ ہی کو فیصل بنایا، پس میرے اگلے پچھلے، چھپے اور کھلے گناہ بخش دے، تو ہی آگے کرنے والا اور پیچھے کرنے والا ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔

O Allah, to You belongs all praise; You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all within them… You are the Truth, Your promise is true, the meeting with You is true, Your word is true, Paradise is true, Hell is true, the prophets are true, Muhammad ﷺ is true and the Hour is true. O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, upon You I rely, to You I turn, by You I dispute and to You I refer judgement. So forgive me what I have done before and after, in secret and in public. You are the One who brings forward and holds back; there is no god but You.
