Surah Al-Mursalat

Waalmursalati AAurfan

قسم ہے اُن (ہواؤں) کی جو پے در پے بھیجی جاتی ہیں

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

FaalAAasifati AAasfan

پھر طوفانی رفتار سے چلتی ہیں

And the winds that blow violently

Waalnnashirati nashran

اور (بادلوں کو) اٹھا کر پھیلاتی ہیں

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

Faalfariqati farqan

پھر (اُن کو) پھاڑ کر جدا کرتی ہیں

And those [angels] who bring criterion

Faalmulqiyati thikran

پھر (دلوں میں خدا کی) یاد ڈالتی ہیں

And those [angels] who deliver a message

AAuthran aw nuthran

عذر کے طور پر یا ڈراوے کے طور پر

As justification or warning

Innama tooAAadoona lawaqiAAun

جس چیز کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے وہ ضرور واقع ہونے والی ہے

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur

Faitha alnnujoomu tumisat

پھر جب ستارے ماند پڑ جائیں گے

So when the stars are obliterated

Waitha alssamao furijat

اور آسمان پھاڑ دیا جائے گا

And when the heaven is opened

Waitha aljibalu nusifat

اور پہاڑ دھنک ڈالے جائیں گے

And when the mountains are blown away

Waitha alrrusulu oqqitat

اور رسولوں کی حاضری کا وقت آ پہنچے گا (اس روز وہ چیز واقع ہو جائے گی)

And when the messengers' time has come

Liayyi yawmin ojjilat

کس روز کے لیے یہ کام اٹھا رکھا گیا ہے؟

For what Day was it postponed

Liyawmi alfasli

فیصلے کے روز کے لیے

For the Day of Judgement

Wama adraka ma yawmu alfasli

اور تمہیں کیا خبر کہ وہ فیصلے کا دن کیا ہے؟

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Alam nuhliki alawwaleena

کیا ہم نے اگلوں کو ہلاک نہیں کیا؟

Did We not destroy the former peoples

Thumma nutbiAAuhumu alakhireena

پھر اُنہی کے پیچھے ہم بعد والوں کو چلتا کریں گے

Then We will follow them with the later ones

Kathalika nafAAalu bialmujrimeena

مجرموں کے ساتھ ہم یہی کچھ کیا کرتے ہیں

Thus do We deal with the criminals

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Alam nakhluqkum min main maheenin

کیا ہم نے ایک حقیر پانی سے تمہیں پیدا نہیں کیا

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained

FajaAAalnahu fee qararin makeenin

اور ایک مقررہ مدت تک،

And We placed it in a firm lodging

Ila qadarin maAAloomin

اُسے ایک محفوظ جگہ ٹھیرائے رکھا؟

For a known extent

Faqadarna faniAAma alqadiroona

تو دیکھو، ہم اِس پر قادر تھے، پس ہم بہت اچھی قدرت رکھنے والے ہیں

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس روز جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Alam najAAali alarda kifatan

کیا ہم نے زمین کو سمیٹ کر رکھنے والی نہیں بنایا

Have We not made the earth a container

Ahyaan waamwatan

زندوں کے لیے بھی اور مُردوں کے لیے بھی

Of the living and the dead

WajaAAalna feeha rawasiya shamikhatin waasqaynakum maan furatan

اور اس میں بلند و بالا پہاڑ جمائے، اور تمہیں میٹھا پانی پلایا؟

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس روز جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Intaliqoo ila ma kuntum bihi tukaththiboona

چلو اب اُسی چیز کی طرف جسے تم جھٹلایا کرتے تھے

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

Intaliqoo ila thillin thee thalathi shuAAabin

چلو اُس سائے کی طرف جو تین شاخوں والا ہے

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

La thaleelin wala yughnee mina allahabi

نہ ٹھنڈک پہنچانے والا اور نہ آگ کی لپٹ سے بچانے والا

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame

Innaha tarmee bishararin kaalqasri

وہ آگ محل جیسی بڑی بڑی چنگاریاں پھینکے گی

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress

Kaannahu jimalatun sufrun

(جو اچھلتی ہوئی یوں محسوس ہوں گی) گویا کہ وہ زرد اونٹ ہیں

As if they were yellowish [black] camels

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس روز جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Hatha yawmu la yantiqoona

یہ وہ دن ہے جس میں وہ نہ کچھ بولیں گے

This is a Day they will not speak

Wala yuthanu lahum fayaAAtathiroona

اور نہ اُنہیں موقع دیا جائے گا کہ کوئی عذر پیش کریں

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Hatha yawmu alfasli jamaAAnakum waalawwaleena

یہ فیصلے کا دن ہے ہم نے تمہیں اور تم سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے لوگوں کو جمع کر دیا ہے

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples

Fain kana lakum kaydun fakeedooni

اب اگر کوئی چال تم چل سکتے ہو تو میرے مقابلہ میں چل دیکھو

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس دن جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Inna almuttaqeena fee thilalin waAAuyoonin

متقی لوگ آج سایوں اور چشموں میں ہیں

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

Wafawakiha mimma yashtahoona

اور جو پھل وہ چاہیں (اُن کے لیے حاضر ہیں)

And fruits from whatever they desire

Kuloo waishraboo haneean bima kuntum taAAmaloona

کھاؤ اور پیو مزے سے اپنے اُن اعمال کے صلے میں جو تم کرتے رہے ہو

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena

ہم نیک لوگوں کو ایسی ہی جزا دیتے ہیں

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس روز جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Kuloo watamattaAAoo qaleelan innakum mujrimoona

کھا لو اور مزے کر لو تھوڑے دن حقیقت میں تم لوگ مجرم ہو

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس روز جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Waitha qeela lahumu irkaAAoo la yarkaAAoona

جب اِن سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ (اللہ کے آگے) جھکو تو نہیں جھکتے

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow

Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena

تباہی ہے اُس روز جھٹلانے والوں کے لیے

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

Fabiayyi hadeethin baAAdahu yuminoona

اب اِس (قرآن) کے بعد اور کونسا کلام ایسا ہو سکتا ہے جس پر یہ ایمان لائیں؟

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe
