اِنَّا٘ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ فِيۡ لَيۡلَةِ الۡقَدۡرِۚۙ ۱
Inna anzalnahu fee laylati alqadri
ہم نے اِس (قرآن) کو شب قدر میں نازل کیا ہے
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree

بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
وَمَا٘ اَدۡرٰىكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ الۡقَدۡرِؕ ۲
Wama adraka ma laylatu alqadri
اور تم کیا جانو کہ شب قدر کیا ہے؟
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree
لَيۡلَةُ الۡقَدۡرِ ۙ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ اَلۡفِ شَهۡرٍؕؔ ۳
Laylatu alqadri khayrun min alfi shahrin
شب قدر ہزار مہینوں سے زیادہ بہتر ہے
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months
تَنَزَّلُ الۡمَلٰٓئِكَةُ وَالرُّوۡحُ فِيۡهَا بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ مِّنۡ كُلِّ اَمۡرٍۙۛ ۴
Tanazzalu almalaikatu waalrroohu feeha biithni rabbihim min kulli amrin
فرشتے اور روح اُس میں اپنے رب کے اذن سے ہر حکم لے کر اترتے ہیں
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter
سَلٰمٌࣞۛ هِيَ حَتّٰي مَطۡلَعِ الۡفَجۡرِࣖ ۵
Salamun hiya hatta matlaAAi alfajri
وہ رات سراسر سلامتی ہے طلوع فجر تک
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn
