بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
اِذَا جَآءَكَ الۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ قَالُوۡا نَشۡهَدُ اِنَّكَ لَرَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِۘ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡلَمُ اِنَّكَ لَرَسُوۡلُهٗؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَشۡهَدُ اِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ لَكٰذِبُوۡنَۚ ۱
Itha jaaka almunafiqoona qaloo nashhadu innaka larasoolu Allahi waAllahu yaAAlamu innaka larasooluhu waAllahu yashhadu inna almunafiqeena lakathiboona
اے نبیؐ، جب یہ منافق تمہارے پاس آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں "ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ آ پ یقیناً اللہ کے رسول ہیں" ہاں، اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تم ضرور اُس کے رسول ہو، مگر اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ یہ منافق قطعی جھوٹے ہیں
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars
اِتَّخَذُوۡ٘ا اَيۡمَانَهُمۡ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ۲
Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
انہوں نے اپنی قسموں کو ڈھال بنا رکھا ہے اور اِس طرح یہ اللہ کے راستے سے خود رکتے اور دنیا کو روکتے ہیں کیسی بری حرکتیں ہیں جو یہ لوگ کر رہے ہیں
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمۡ اٰمَنُوۡا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوۡا فَطُبِعَ عَلٰي قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُوۡنَ ۳
Thalika biannahum amanoo thumma kafaroo fatubiAAa AAala quloobihim fahum la yafqahoona
یہ سب کچھ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ ان لوگوں نے ایمان لا کر پھر کفر کیا اس لیے ان کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دی گئی، اب یہ کچھ نہیں سمجھتے
That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand
وَاِذَا رَاَيۡتَهُمۡ تُعۡجِبُكَ اَجۡسَامُهُمۡؕ وَاِنۡ يَّقُوۡلُوۡا تَسۡمَعۡ لِقَوۡلِهِمۡؕ كَاَنَّهُمۡ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌؕ يَحۡسَبُوۡنَ كُلَّ صَيۡحَةٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡؕ هُمُ الۡعَدُوُّ فَاحۡذَرۡهُمۡؕ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُؗ اَنّٰي يُؤۡفَكُوۡنَ ۴
Waitha raaytahum tuAAjibuka ajsamuhum wain yaqooloo tasmaAA liqawlihim kaannahum khushubun musannadatun yahsaboona kulla sayhatin AAalayhim humu alAAaduwwu faihtharhum qatalahumu Allahu anna yufakoona
اِنہیں دیکھو تو اِن کے جثے تمہیں بڑے شاندار نظر آئیں بولیں تو تم ان کی باتیں سنتے رہ جاؤ مگر اصل میں یہ گویا لکڑی کے کندے ہیں جو دیوار کے ساتھ چن کر رکھ دیے گئے ہوں ہر زور کی آواز کو یہ اپنے خلاف سمجھتے ہیں یہ پکے دشمن ہیں، ان سے بچ کر رہو، اللہ کی مار ان پر، یہ کدھر الٹے پھرائے جا رہے ہیں
And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded
وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا يَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ لَوَّوۡا رُءُوۡسَهُمۡ وَرَاَيۡتَهُمۡ يَصُدُّوۡنَ وَهُمۡ مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُوۡنَ ۵
Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw yastaghfir lakum rasoolu Allahi lawwaw ruoosahum waraaytahum yasuddoona wahum mustakbiroona
اور جب اِن سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ آؤ تاکہ اللہ کا رسول تمہارے لیے مغفرت کی دعا کرے، تو سر جھٹکتے ہیں اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ وہ بڑے گھمنڈ کے ساتھ آنے سے رکتے ہیں
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant
سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ اَسۡتَغۡفَرۡتَ لَهُمۡ اَمۡ لَمۡ تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡؕ لَنۡ يَّغۡفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمۡؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدِي الۡقَوۡمَ الۡفٰسِقِيۡنَ ۶
Sawaon AAalayhim astaghfarta lahum am lam tastaghfir lahum lan yaghfira Allahu lahum inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena
اے نبیؐ، تم چاہے ان کے لیے مغفرت کی دعا کرو یا نہ کرو، ان کے لیے یکساں ہے، اللہ ہرگز انہیں معاف نہ کرے گا، اللہ فاسق لوگوں کو ہرگز ہدایت نہیں دیتا
It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allah forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people
هُمُ الَّذِيۡنَ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لَا تُنۡفِقُوۡا عَلٰي مَنۡ عِنۡدَ رَسُوۡلِ اللّٰهِ حَتّٰي يَنۡفَضُّوۡاؕ وَلِلّٰهِ خَزَآئِنُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَلٰكِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ لَا يَفۡقَهُوۡنَ ۷
Humu allatheena yaqooloona la tunfiqoo AAala man AAinda rasooli Allahi hatta yanfaddoo walillahi khazainu alssamawati waalardi walakinna almunafiqeena la yafqahoona
یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ رسول کے ساتھیوں پر خرچ کرنا بند کر دو تاکہ یہ منتشر ہو جائیں حالانکہ زمین اور آسمانوں کے خزانوں کا مالک اللہ ہی ہے، مگر یہ منافق سمجھتے نہیں ہیں
They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand
يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لَئِنۡ رَّجَعۡنَا٘ اِلَي الۡمَدِيۡنَةِ لَيُخۡرِجَنَّ الۡاَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا الۡاَذَلَّؕ وَلِلّٰهِ الۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَلٰكِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَࣖ ۸
Yaqooloona lain rajaAAna ila almadeenati layukhrijanna alaAAazzu minha alathalla walillahi alAAizzatu walirasoolihi walilmumineena walakinna almunafiqeena la yaAAlamoona
یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم مدینے واپس پہنچ جائیں تو جو عزت والا ہے وہ ذلیل کو وہاں سے نکال باہر کرے گا حالانکہ عزت تو اللہ اور اس کے رسولؐ اور مومنین کے لیے ہے، مگر یہ منافق جانتے نہیں ہیں
They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know
يٰ٘اَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ اَمۡوَالُكُمۡ وَلَا٘ اَوۡلَادُكُمۡ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِ اللّٰهِۚ وَمَنۡ يَّفۡعَلۡ ذٰلِكَ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الۡخٰسِرُوۡنَ ۹
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tulhikum amwalukum wala awladukum AAan thikri Allahi waman yafAAal thalika faolaika humu alkhasiroona
اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، تمہارے مال اور تمہاری اولادیں تم کو اللہ کی یاد سے غافل نہ کر دیں جو لوگ ایسا کریں وہی خسارے میں رہنے والے ہیں
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers
وَاَنۡفِقُوۡا مِنۡ مَّا رَزَقۡنٰكُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِيَ اَحَدَكُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُوۡلَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَا٘ اَخَّرۡتَنِيۡ٘ اِلٰ٘ي اَجَلٍ قَرِيۡبٍۙ فَاَصَّدَّقَ وَاَكُنۡ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ ۱۰
Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakum min qabli an yatiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbi lawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqa waakun mina alssaliheena
جو رزق ہم نے تمہیں دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرو قبل اس کے کہ تم میں سے کسی کی موت کا وقت آ جائے اور اُس وقت وہ کہے کہ "اے میرے رب، کیوں نہ تو نے مجھے تھوڑی سی مہلت اور دے دی کہ میں صدقہ دیتا اور صالح لوگوں میں شامل ہو جاتا
And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous
وَلَنۡ يُّؤَخِّرَ اللّٰهُ نَفۡسًا اِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهَاؕ وَاللّٰهُ خَبِيۡرٌۭ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَࣖ ۱۱
Walan yuakhkhira Allahu nafsan itha jaa ajaluha waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona
حالانکہ جب کسی کی مہلت عمل پوری ہونے کا وقت آ جاتا ہے تو اللہ اُس کو ہرگز مزید مہلت نہیں دیتا، اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو، اللہ اس سے باخبر ہے
But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do
