اَرَءَيۡتَ الَّذِيۡ يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّيۡنِؕ ۱
Araayta allathee yukaththibu bialddeeni
تم نے دیکھا اُس شخص کو جو آخرت کی جزا و سزا کو جھٹلاتا ہے؟
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense

بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيۡ يَدُعُّ الۡيَتِيۡمَۙ ۲
Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAu alyateema
وہی تو ہے جو یتیم کو دھکے دیتا ہے
For that is the one who drives away the orphan
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰي طَعَامِ الۡمِسۡكِيۡنِؕ ۳
Wala yahuddu AAala taAAami almiskeeni
اور مسکین کو کھانا دینے پر نہیں اکساتا
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor
فَوَيۡلٌ لِّلۡمُصَلِّيۡنَۙ ۴
Fawaylun lilmusalleena
پھر تباہی ہے اُن نماز پڑھنے والوں کے لیے
So woe to those who pray
الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ عَنۡ صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُوۡنَۙ ۵
Allatheena hum AAan salatihim sahoona
جو اپنی نماز سے غفلت برتتے ہیں
[But] who are heedless of their prayer
الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُوۡنَۙ ۶
Allatheena hum yuraoona
جو ریا کاری کرتے ہیں
Those who make show [of their deeds]
وَيَمۡنَعُوۡنَ الۡمَاعُوۡنَࣖ ۷
WayamnaAAoona almaAAoona
اور معمولی ضرورت کی چیزیں (لوگوں کو) دینے سے گریز کرتے ہیں
And withhold [simple] assistance
